Infrastructure Disputes in International Arbitration

Our Panel on Infrastructure Disputes in International Arbitration will provide insight on the challenges that megaprojects on infrastructure pose on international arbitration. The Panel will be discussing the following issues:

- The risks that infrastructure projects entail, which may compromise the development and completion of the project and result in arbitration disputes;
- The complexity and peculiarities of infrastructure disputes;
- The effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the development of these projects and the rise on international arbitration claims; and
- The issues of attribution to the State of acts of State-owned enterprises and private parties involved in infrastructure projects.
